1A photo can't tell you what the holds are made of
Every listing looks fine at thumbnail size. What you can't see is the part fingers actually touch. Ours are 12 real resin climbing holds on a solid wooden block.

2Holds on a block are only half of it. The routes are the game.
A block with no routes is something you pick up twice. Ours comes with the Challenge Deck: 32 routes across 4 levels, from Yellow (easy) to Purple (expert), with special moves like dynos and match holds. Draw a card, hit the holds in order.
It's a game played with the fingers, not an exercise. That's why people keep doing it.
3Holds that don't move get solved, and then it's done
On the Boulder Block, the 12 holds unscrew and move. When the deck is finished, set new routes. They never run out.
4When a hold breaks, who do you write to?
If a hold on a Boulder Block breaks, we replace it free. Write to us and a new hold goes out.
